Publish your events, take sign-ups, sell tickets. All inside WordPress.

HappenBoard adds a real event calendar to your WordPress site.

Create an event once and repeat it every week, show it as a calendar, a list or a grid, and let visitors reserve a free place or pay by card with Stripe or WooCommerce.

It all happens on your own site, in the editor you already use, on pages Google can read.

Free plugin. Works with any block theme. Your events and your attendee list stay on your own site.

Blocks and templates

Build event pages like you build everything else

Your calendar is not a shortcode. HappenBoard ships 18 server-rendered blocks, 11 ready-made patterns and 4 Site Editor templates, so event pages inherit your theme’s fonts, colors and spacing automatically. Works with block themes out of the box, and every front-end block doubles as an Elementor widget if that is your builder.

Recurring events

Set the series once, trust every date

Weekly classes, monthly meetups, yearly conferences. HappenBoard expands standard RRULE recurrence into indexed occurrences, so calendars stay fast even with years of dates. Life happened? Pro lets you cancel, move or restore a single occurrence without touching the series.

RSVPs

Stop losing attendees

Visitors RSVP in one step. You get capacity limits, branded confirmation and reminder emails, and a self-service cancellation link. Spam protection is built in and always on: honeypot, signed timestamps and rate limiting, with optional Turnstile and Akismet.

Ticketing · Pro

Sell tickets where your money already lives

Create ticket types with prices and capacities, then charge through Stripe Checkout or your existing WooCommerce store. Attendees receive a PDF e-ticket with a QR code; at the door, scan it with the built-in check-in screen. Capacity is validated before payment, so you never oversell a room.

Integrations · Pro

Your events, everywhere they need to be

Two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook. Signed webhooks that Zapier, Make and n8n accept out of the box. Slack alerts for your team, WhatsApp reminders for attendees, and email automations through MailerPress. Set it up once, then let registrations flow.

SEO and performance

Fast and SEO-friendly out of the box

Server-rendered blocks load instantly and are indexed by Google, no JavaScript-only pages that hurt your rankings. Every event ships Event Schema markup for rich results, and SEOPress users get dynamic variables, breadcrumbs and schema handled automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who owns my data?

You do. Events are standard WordPress posts, attendees export to CSV, JSON or vCard, calendars export to iCal, and GDPR export and erase tools are built in. Nothing is locked in and nothing leaves your site without your opt-in.

  • Do recurring events really work?

HappenBoard uses the same RRULE standard as Google Calendar, stores every occurrence in an indexed table, and keeps series in sync when you edit them. Pro adds per-occurrence exceptions: skip one date, move another, restore a third.

  • Can I migrate from The Events Calendar or Events Manager?

Yes, in one click from the admin or with WP-CLI. HappenBoard imports events, venues, organizers and recurrence rules from The Events Calendar, Events Manager, Sugar Calendar, EventKoi and Amelia, plus any .ics file.

  • Will it work with my theme?

HappenBoard is built from standard blocks that follow your theme’s global styles. Block themes work out of the box, and the main blocks are also available as Elementor widgets.

  • Can I sell tickets with HappenBoard?

With HappenBoard Pro, yes. Charge through Stripe Checkout or through WooCommerce and any payment gateway it supports. Ticket types have their own price and their own number of seats.

  • Is HappenBoard Free?

Yes. The Free plugin includes the full calendar, recurring events, RSVPs with capacity limits, appointment booking, migration and exports. HappenBoard Pro adds paid tickets, QR check-in, calendar sync, automations and more.

Ready when you are
